One of my favorite subjects to paint is architecture.

My love of architectural style and monument have long become my trademark.

When I saw Frau Libenkirch, I just marveled at the skill that it took to create such a structure, I took a picture of the building so that I would be able to paint it later and it went into my archives.

When I took it out to begin a new piece, I was amazed that the old man was in the frame of view and had the same awe- struck expression on his face as I had on my own at the time.
