There are so few places where you can escape from every-day life, it just seems as if the world is always intruding.

While living in Germany, I found this tiny, secluded spot just off the beaten path.

Life in the shaded garden seemed to slow and only to revolve around the statuary placed eloquently in the middle. That garden was solitude.
